Community Projects

We are passionate about sharing our expertise and supporting the next generation of media professionals through our Community Projects. Through hands-on training, collaborative projects, and meaningful partnerships, we help individuals and organisations develop essential storytelling and production skills while strengthening the creative sector in North Wales and beyond.

We believe in inspiring future generations by passing on skills and fostering creativity. Recently, we partnered with Meddwl Ymlaen and Barnardo’s to co-produce a film alongside talented young people across Gwynedd and Môn. This project involved hands-on training in camera operation, presenting, interviewing, and video editing. Participants gained practical experience and mentorship, working with our team from the initial scripting stage through to editing workshops, culminating in an official screening event attended by sector partners. This project reflects our commitment to empowering young voices and encouraging skill development within our local communities.

Our company played a key role in the inception, development, and delivery of TeliMôn, a local, on-demand video content channel for Anglesey. Funded initially by LEADER through Menter Môn, we successfully tendered to lead this community-based pilot project, establishing a steering group and coordinating a team of freelancers to produce regular, varied and bilingual content. Our team helped to form social enterprise TeliMôn Cyf which we later became the first in Wales to be part of S4C Lleol, a pioneer pilot partnership with Welsh broadcaster S4C to create innovative, highly engaging content for the channel. This partnership demonstrates our capacity to develop dynamic media initiatives that meet the needs of both local communities and broader audiences.

We offer bespoke training workshops and one-on-one sessions, tailored to suit any level of experience. Whether you’re looking to create engaging social media content, learn camera operation, or edit using software like Final Cut Pro, we design our training to be practical, engaging, and directly applicable to your needs. Beyond training, we provide work experience and professional opportunities, supporting emerging freelancers as they establish themselves in the media industry.
